SILVIVA: long live the forest!

We take people to nature…

… because without nature we cannot be human.

A large part of what makes us human is based on learning through tactile experience: we touch the world around us and let it touch us. We simply cannot survive without sensual, holistic experience and without interaction with the natural environment.

… because it is only in nature that we can learn really well.

Nature-based-learning has many positive effects. Among other things, learning outdoors is just easier. Using all our senses, being active, ‘grasping’ things and experiencing things deeply help us to anchor what we have learned and experienced effectively in the brain.

… because without being connected to nature, we cannot act appropriately.

With no experience of nature, sustainable development cannot be successful. By spending time in nature, we become more familiar with it and thus more motivated in the long term to support the environment in the context of very diverse activities and decisions.
